Although there is no game this weekend, I still like going "By the Numbers", if you will. So, before we start the second half of the season, let's talk wins, losses, first half of the season and second half of the season.

29 - wins for the seven teams the Texans faced in the first seven weeks of the year. FIVE of the seven teams the Texans faced are undefeated or have just one loss.

15 - losses for the seven teams the Texans faced in the first seven weeks of the year.

65.9% - the winning percentage of the first seven teams the Texans faced.

26 - wins for the eight teams the Texans face in the final nine weeks of the season. Just one team has one loss (Titans) and that team could be playing a scaled down roster in week 17 at NRG Stadium.

25 - losses for the eight teams the Texans face in the final nine weeks of the season. Four of those eight teams have a .500 record or worse.

50.9% - the winning percentage of the eight teams remaining on the Texans schedule. Remove the Titans, with the possibility they'll be resting starters, and the seven teams' winning percentage drops to 46.7% over the second half of the schedule.

4 - wins for the Texans after the bye in 2019 in six games in which starters played (didn't count week 17 as Texans rested nearly every starter on the roster).

5 - wins for the Texans after the bye in 2018 in seven games

69.2% - winning percentage after the bye the past two years with Deshaun Watson at quarterback.

19.7% - the Texans would need to win 19.7% MORE of their games than they have in the previous two seasons over the second half of the season just to get to 9-7. It would take the Texans winning 88.9% of their final nine games to get over .500 for the season.

Alright, that'll do it, math class is OVER! See ya next week from Jacksonville!!
