NASHVILLE - The Titans on Tuesday promoted linebacker Daren Bates and offensive lineman David Quessenberry from the team's practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Also today, the team signed linebacker Will Compton the practice squad after waiving him from the active roster on Monday.

The Titans have also added offensive lineman Paul Adams (6-6, 315) to the team's practice squad.

Adams is a Nashville native who played at Christ Presbyterian Academy and then at Missouri. Adams originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants in 2019 and he has also since spent time with the Browns and Washington Football Team.

Bates, who played for the Titans from 2017-19, rejoined the team earlier this season and he's played in three games for the Titans in 2020, working on special teams.

Quessenbery was elevated to the roster for Sunday's game against the Steelers, but he reverted back to the practice squad on Monday. Now he's on the 53-man roster and will provide depth on the offensive line. The 6-foot-5-inch, 305-pounder was originally drafted by the Houston Texans in the sixth round (176th overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

In 2019, Quessenberry appeared in a career-high four games for the Titans and caught his first career touchdown on a one-yard catch.

As a college player, Adams played 41 games over a four-year career at Missouri. He earned Mr. Football honors as a high school player at CPA.

The Titans face the Bengals on Sunday in Cincinnati.
