Cheyenne Parker scored 15 points and had a game-cementing steal in the final seconds to help the Chicago Sky defeat the Dallas Wings 82-79 on Tuesday at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
The Sky (4-1) led by just one point heading into the fourth quarter of a competitive, back-and-forth game before taking charge with a 7-2 run midway through the period.
Dallas answered with a late surge, helped by a Kayla Thornton 3-pointer at the 1:12 mark and an Arike Ogunbowale layup with 13.5 seconds to play to pull to within 80-79.
After capturing a jump ball, the Wings had a chance to win, but Parker tied up Satou Sabally and stole the ball with 4.1 seconds left. Chicago's Courtney Vandersloot then canned a pair of free throws to clinch the win.
Azura Stevens and Allie Quigley each added 15 points for the Sky, with Vandersloot scoring 14 and Kahleah Cooper hitting for 11 points.

The Sky scored the game's first 11 points, but back-to-back 3-pointers by Thornton and a trey from Katie Lou Samuelson in the final 1:30 allowed Dallas to leapfrog to a 20-19 advantage after 10 minutes.
Chicago led by four in the middle of the second quarter, but a pair of free throws by Sabally with 0.1 seconds remaining pulled Dallas within 43-42 heading to halftime.
